 g Event visit to the Maughan Library\, King's College London.\n\nThe Maugh
 an Library has taken advantage of the magnificent architecture and unusual
  features of the former Public Record Office building. Designed by Sir Jam
 es Pennethorne\, a former pupil of John Nash\, and Sir John Taylor\, it wa
 s constructed between 1851 and 1898. It once housed the nation’s public 
 records\, including the Domesday Book and Magna Carta within an environmen
 t designed to be almost entirely fireproof.\n\nThe tour will highlight bot
 h the historical features of the building and some of the library’s mode
 rn technology and community- focused spaces. Visitors will also have the o
 pportunity to view a selection of rare and unique items from the Special C
 ollections.\n\nPlease ensure you have also completed a booking form for th
