It was a Green Buildi ng of the Year finalist in 1996 and has had various alterations and refurb ishments through the years with the last happening as we came back to site after the first covid lockdown. The purpose of the most recent refurbishm ent was to update the ground floor for form a Student Centre and move othe r student facing colleagues in. Recent other projects have included a well being room\, an exhibition space and an art trail documenting the (mostly) public facing art in the building and along the campus spine.\n\nQueen’ s Building\, ARU Library\n\nBishop Hall Lane\, Chelmsford\n\nEssex\, CM1 1 SQ\n\nTravelling to our Chelmsford campus - ARU\n\nThe building is accessi ble and has a lift. It is some distance from the railway station about a 1 5 min walk.\n\n \;\n\nBookings for visits are free of charge but are o pen to members of the M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries only.\n\nTo boo k a place please use our online booking form for M25 Members.\n\nIf subseq uent to booking a place on a cpd25 visit you find that you are unable to attend\, we ask that you let us know this as soon as possible. Cancellatio ns received less than three working days before the event will be charged a £15 cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day\, £25 will be charged.
