SUMMARY:Visit to the School of Pharmacy Library [Event Ref. No. TG2V/PHAR]
DESCRIPTION:The School of Pharmacy Library is a unique academic library tha
 t is particularly strong in the core pharmaceutical sciences\, pharmacogno
 sy and pharmacology\, but which also spans the whole biomedical spectrum a
 nd beyond.  It currently subscribes to over 5\,500 scholarly journals (mos
 tly in electronic format) and has around 15\,000 manuscript volumes which 
 includes a textbook collection.\n\nThe Library was refurbished in the Summ
 er of 2009 so this visit will provide an opportunity to have a tour of the
  new Library.  There will also be a chance to look at some of the archival
