DESCRIPTION:Founded in 1707 the Society of Antiquaries of London is one of 
 several learned societies based in Burlington House\, Piccadilly.  The Soc
 iety's principal concern is the study and advancement of archaeology and a
 ssociated disciplines related to the study of the past. It's historic libr
 ary and museum collections comprise printed materials\, manuscripts\, prin
 ts and drawings\, paintings and artefacts. \n\nThis visit will be a chance
  to see the Library and hear what it's like to manage a diverse range of m
 aterials and collections. \n\nThe visit is free of charge.\n\nTo reserve a
