DESCRIPTION:The Wellcome Library houses collections of books\, manuscripts\
 , archives\, films and pictures on the history of medicine from the earlie
 st times to the present day.\n\nThis visit will cover a tour of the librar
 y and a viewing of their archive material and would be of use to any libra
 ry staff or information professionals who are interested in special collec
 tions or the history of medicine.\n \nThe visit is free of charge.  \n \nT
 o reserve a space\, please use our online booking form or e-mail the admin
 istrator at cpd25@lse.ac.uk\n \nPlease note that there are limited places 
 available for this visit.\n \nMeeting details: \nAttendees should report t
 o reception on the ground floor when they arrive where a staff member will
  meet you and escort you to the library.  Please note that all bags and co
 ats should be placed in the ground floor cloakroom.\n \nThere is a Peyton 
 and Byrne cafe on the ground floor if you require any refreshments.\n \nIn
