SUMMARY:Visit to the Wiener Holocaust Library[TG4v/Wiener]
DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\n\nThe Wiener Holocaust Library is one of the world
 ’s leading and most extensive archives on the Holocaust\, the Nazi era a
 nd genocide. The Library’s unique collection of over one million items i
 ncludes published and unpublished works\, press cuttings\, photographs and
  eyewitness testimony.\n\nThe first part of the visit will be a Tour of th
 e Exhibition space\, the Wolfson Reading Room and the basement archives. T
 he tour will include an introduction to the history of the Library and the
  Wiener family story. Following this\, the group will be shown some fascin
 ating historical documents from our Collection and have the chance to see 
 inside our Archive stores.\n\nThe second part of the visit will be with th
 e Library’s Collections Team who will offer an insight into our Collecti
 ons practice\, new acquisitions\, digitisation and development. You will h
 ave the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about our vast Collect
 ions.\n\n\nAccessibility: Lift access throughout. Please note there are so
 me tight/small spaces down in the archive. \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nBookings for vi
 sits are open to members of the M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries only.
 \n\n To book a place\, please use our online booking form for M25 Members
  and enter 'n/a' in the purchase order field.\n\nIf subsequent to booking 
 a place on a cpd25 visit you find that you are unable to attend\, we ask 
 that you let us know this as soon as possible.\n\nCancellations received l
 ess than three working days before the event will be charged a £15 cancel
 lation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day\, £25 will be char
 ged.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nPlease note that advance booking is required. If you ha
 ve not received a booking confirmation email\, you won't be included on th
 e registration list and may be turned away on the day. Please email cpd25@
