Members’ Networking Event 2026

The M25 Consortium Members’ Networking Event 2026 will take place on Wednesday 2nd December from 5pm to 7pm in the Studio at The Science Museum Library, Queen’s Gate, London. It is for staff who work at M25 Member libraries, and invited guests.

This event is a great opportunity to meet members from across the M25 Consortium community. Staff of all levels from our special, scholarly, academic, national and arts libraries come together for an informal evening of networking.

Warm welcome
There will be a welcome talk from Katie Flanagan, the Group Head of Libraries at the Science Museum and an introduction from David Archer, Chair of the M25 Consortium. Then time to chat with colleagues from across our member libraries, with light snacks and drinks provided.

Due to venue security, only persons on the guest list will be admitted. To book your place please complete the member booking form (one per staff member) as soon as possible. The booking form link is at the bottom of the page.

Places are free of charge, as a benefit of M25 membership, so please insert your own email in the ‘Email address to send your invoice to’ field and ‘n/a’ in the other invoicing fields.

Bring along a poster
We welcome submissions of posters highlighting a recent service improvement, project or activity in your library service. If you intend to bring a poster, send an email with brief details to Jill Howard, Operations Manager, m25libadmin@london.ac.uk

Visit to the Science Museum Library
Before the Networking event, we are also offering two short tours of the Science Museum Library with a chance to see items from the special collections. These will be from 4.15-4.30pm and 4.45-5.00pm. If you would like to attend a tour, please complete a separate booking form which can be found on the visit listing.
