Event Type

When you are facing significant challenges, whether it is squeezed rising costs, re-structuring or developing a significant project, staff may be apprehensive and resistant to change. To help support your organisation and staff good working practices including effective planning and change management are essential.

The morning workshop will be facilitated by Ash Charlton from Ace Training. He will explore why change management skills are so important, how to improve them and will provide a practical toolkit of techniques for managers and supervisors to take back to the work place.

In the afternoon there will be three short presentations around practical change management.

This full-day workshop is for library supervisors and managers, and attendees should go away confident in their abilities to help library staff cope with change, make the most of change, and manage the whole process effectively in their own libraries.
