It is five years since the previous cpd25 conference on 24 hour opening, during which time 24 hour and longer opening hours have become more common in academic libraries.

As we take another look at the subject, LSE reflects on the last seven years, SOAS tell us why they started and stopped 24 hour opening and Kingston have produced a training film about the work involved in keeping the LRCs open 24-hours.

Break out groups are planned to reflect current topics of concern and the day will end with a panel question and answer session.
