How do we ensure quality services for students with a disability, in the context of DSA changes in September and recent copyright changes?

The event is a useful update for disability reps and any library staff with an interest in supporting customers with a disability and provides an insight into how two organisations are approaching the issues.

1400 – 1430 – Registration

1430 – 1435 – Welcome Introduction

1435 – 1455 – DSA changes – Karen Burton, Head of Study Support and Wellbeing at Anglia Ruskin University

1455 – 1510 – Tea break

1510 – 1530 – Copyright changes for disability – Michael Wheare, Library Access Support Co-ordinator at Birkbeck, University of London

1530 – 1550 – Oxford Brookes and Anglia Ruskin experience – Karen Burton and Michael Wheare

1550 – 1630 – Round Table discussion / Exchange of experience

1630 – 1645 – Summary

Cost:

£50 for members and £75 for other institutions.

Cancellations less than one week before the event will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day, the full fee will be charged.
