Focus groups can be an extremely effective technique for gathering information from your users. They can provide rich information and insights which can supplement and develop information obtained and library surveys to provide a more complete picture of user requirements.

This is a half day work shop which will explore the use of focus groups in academic libraries.

4.00 Case Study – Peter Godwin, London South Bank University, Training staff to run focus groups. Collating the feedback from focus groups.

Cost is £35 for cpd25 members, £45 for M25 affiliate members and £55 for other institutions, including refreshments.

Please note that there are limited places available for this event. Cancellations less than one week before the event will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day, the full fee will be charged.
