During this event, we will be having three 20-minute sessions looking at both digital technologies/systems and digital skills followed by two lightning talk sessions showcasing recent member initiatives. We hope it will also be a space for participants to share experiences with each other and connect over shared challenges and ideas.
Programme:
- Digital image collections: achieving the library’s vision in microcosm. Tom Shaw, Deputy Director, Libraries & Collections, Kings College London
- Each one teach one: Closing the digital divide through cascading skills development, Regina Everitt, ACOO (Service Excellence) and Director of Library, Archives, and Learning Services (LALS), University of East London
- Embedding Digital Skills and Literacies: Adobe Creative Campus. Nuala McLaren, Head of Reader Services and Academic Support, and Chris Irwin, Digital Skills Evangelist, Goldsmiths, University of London
- Lightning talks:
- Virtual reading room – 101 – How to bring on stream virtual access to your collection, our experience. Diane McCourt, Collection Development Manager, RCN Library, Royal College of Nursing
- Introducing Harper – improving the student and staff experience through a (non-AI) guidebot, David Clover, Deputy Director of Library and Student Support, Middlesex University
Cost:
- M25 Consortium members receive one free Leadership Briefing place per institution per year (this is the first briefing of the year for 2023-24). Additional places cost £75
- Non-M25 Consortium members £112.50

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations less than one week before the event will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day, the full fee will be charged.
