Managing People [Event Ref. TG1/ASPECTS]
This workshop is part of the cpd25 Aspects programme, aimed at library staff looking to acquire additional skills and knowledge or staff working towards Chartership.
Sooner or later in your career it is likely that you will have to manage other people. This workshop is aimed at people taking their first steps in staff management, or who are interested in doing so. Drawing on their own considerable experience, Alison Charlesworth and Ruth Murphy will cover the basics of supervision and line management and include sections on emotional intelligence; dealing with performance issues; managing change; and leading small teams.

This session takes place alongside cpd25 Aspects workshop ‘Strategic Management’. If an individual books both sessions a 10% discount will be applied.
Cancellations less than one week before the event will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day, the full fee will be charged.
