cpd25 is pleased to announce a visit to the Library at the RHS Gardens at Wisley.

From its foundation in 1804, the Royal Horticultural Society has grown to be the world’s leading horticultural organisation. The RHS Gardens at Wisley, near Woking in Surrey, were given to the Society in 1903. The Wisley Library comprises the Garden and the Laboratory Libraries, which have developing collections of floras and plant monographs, 400 current periodicals and some 14,000 nursery catalogues dating from the 1900s.

The tour will comprise visits to both libraries, and a chance to visit the gardens.

We will be traveling by minibus from Waterloo Station, departing 1pm, and leaving the garden by in time to get back to London for 6pm.
