Ian is the Senior Librarian (Personnel) at La Trobe University Library, Australia. Ian has worked in the Australian university library sector for over 30 years during which time he has developed a particular interest in professional development and workplace learning, human resource management and organisational development. Ian writes regular columns on these topics for the Library Management journal. Ian is an active member of the Continuing Professional Development and Workplace Learning Section of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) and has, since 2003, been collaborating with colleagues in the UK to survey and benchmark staff development and continuing professional education practice in Australian and British academic and research libraries.
Cost is £20 for cpd25 members, £25 for M25 affiliate members and £35 for other institutions, including refreshments.
Please note that there are limited places available for this event. Bookings will close on the 17th August, and cancellation after that date will incur a 50% cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day, the full fee will be charged.
