Diversity, equality and bias are challenging topics and it can sometimes be difficult to sort opinion from fact. In this workshop Dr Keon West – a social psychologist and expert in intergroup relations – will guide you through the knowledge that scientists have gained about conscious and unconscious bias, as well the methods they used to acquire it. Based entirely on published empirical research, this workshop will offer you new insights into your society, your organisation and (most importantly) yourself. Come prepared to be both challenged and enlightened.
This event is open to all higher education institute staff!
