CPD25 Visit to Oxford – Tuesday June 24th The visit will encompass the following libraries: Sackler Library University of Oxford 1 Saint John Street Oxford OX1 2LG Collections: Archaeology, Art History, and Classics. Radcliffe Science Library Parks Road, OXFORD OX1 3QP Collections: Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Medicine, Experimental Psychology, Mathematics, Computing Science, Geography, and History of Science. Social Science Library Centre for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences Manor Road Building Manor Road Oxford OX1 3UQ Collections: Criminology, Economics, International Development, Politics and International Relations, Social Policy and Social Work, Socio-Legal Studies, and Sociology. Itinerary: Please meet in the Ashmolean forecourt from 11.15am. 11.30am: Visit Sackler Library 1.00pm: Lunch 2.00pm: Visit Social Science Library Please meet outside the Social Science Library (allow 10 minutes to walk from the town centre) 3.30pm: Visit Radcliffe Science Library 5pm: Finish Travel to Oxford: Trains leave Paddington at regular intervals. The following will get you to Oxford with time to reach the meeting point (approximately 15 minutes walk): Dep:09.55 arr. 10.47 Dep:10.06 arr. 11.06 NB: As we’re travelling after 9am it may be possible to buy a cheap day return ticket for £19.00 Map of libraries and railway station: This visit is free of charge and delegates will need to arrange their own transport.
