The Wiener Library is the world’s oldest Holocaust memorial institution, tracing its history back to 1933.
The Library collects material related to the Holocaust, its causes and legacies. It has holdings of approximately 50,000 items searchable online and is a multi-language collection with most items in German and English.
The Wiener Library’s collection of Eye Witness Accounts consist of the testimonies of those who suffered at the hands of the Nazis and much original supporting documentation. The c1200 accounts, ranging in length from a few to dozens of pages, provide a personal insight into antisemitism in Europe
