Katie Giles, Kingston University Archivist, will show visitors the archive and special collections. The collections at Kingston University include books and documents relating to the author Iris Murdoch, including her Oxford and London Libraries. Theatre critic Sheridan Morley’s Library and personal papers are another highlight of the archive collection. These items include volumes of press cuttings of Morley’s reviews; research notes for many of his biographies including that of Noel Coward; correspondence with many actors including John Gielgud, Alec Guinness and others; photographs; documents relating to the various productions in which he was involved. The history of Kingston University and its predecessor bodies is also represented in the archive, as are a number of other collections.
