9th January 2009, 11am
“When Corpus Christi College ran out of space, it engaged Wright and Wright to remodel a former bank it owns on one of the city’s main streets as the Taylor Library”
(Building Design, May 16th 2008)
Wright & Wright Architects have worked on numerous projects for education: the Women’s Library, King Edward’s School, the law department at London Guildhall University, and the Royal College of Art’s library and sculpture school.
The tour will be led by the librarian, and will commence at 11am. Visitors should meet at the main entrance on Trumpington Street.
For visitors coming from Central London, a train leaves from KX at 9.45am, arriving in Cambridge at 10.30am.
