The National Institute for Medical Research is a research institute dedicated to studying important questions about the life processes that are relevant to all aspects of health. The Institute is the largest supported by the Medical Research Council, a national organisation funded by the British taxpayer that promotes research into all areas of medical and related science to improve the health of the British public.

This visit will be comprised of a quick talk about the Institute and the Library, as well as a tour of the Library and Library store and a display of some older items. This visit will be of interest to library and information professionals who work in research libraries or are interested in medical research.

Tea and coffee will be provided as part of the visit.

This visit is free of charge.
