This visit is now FULLY BOOKED Visit to the University of the Arts London Archives & Special Collections Centre London College of Communication Elephant & Castle, London. SE1 6SB. Map:http://www.lcc.arts.ac.uk/lcc_location.htm 1.30-4.30pm The UAL Archives and Special Collections Centre was opened in October 2007 and the largest collection it houses is the archive of the late Stanley Kubrick. Props, costumes, letters and a wealth of research material make up this unique collection and the centre also includes the Tom Eckersley Poster Collection and the LCC Comic collection. (http://www.arts.ac.uk/kubrick.htm) (http://www.arts.ac.uk/library/33037.htm) The LCC Special Collections houses the Printing Historical Collection, Artists' Books and Private Press items and there will be an opportunity to tour the remodelled space (courtesy of a successful HEFCE space bid) which allows for social learning.
