An opportunity to visit a busy prison library in West London. The Library at HMP Wormwood Scrubs provides a library and information service to 1,250 prisoners and all grades of staff. The Librarian will give us a tour of the Library and do a short presentation on the service, to include
* the educational and information needs of inmates
* collection development and funding in a prison library
* particular challenges of working in the prison environment
* support and training networks for prison library staff
