Visit to the House of Commons[TG1v/HoC] – VISIT NOW FULL

This visit to the House of Commons Library will include talks from several members of staff of the House of Commons Library about their work, how the service supports Members of Parliament and how this links to the wider academic and research library sector. We will also provide a tour of the House of Commons Library which is normally only open to Members of Parliament, and a tour of the Palace of Westminster including the House of Lords and House of Commons chambers.
Accessibility: There are steps, uneven floors and some walking and standing involved in the tour and getting around the building – if any attendees might find this difficult, advanced warning would be helpful – please include any requirements on your booking form, or email cpd25@london.ac.uk.
Bookings for visits are open to members of the M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries only.

If subsequent to booking a place on a cpd25 visit you find that you are unable to attend, we ask that you let us know this as soon as possible.
Cancellations received less than three working days before the event will be charged a £15 cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day, £25 will be charged.
