Dyslexia, creative learning and assistive technology [Event Ref. TG2/ASSIST]

This event brings together key speakers who have had experience of working with dyslexic students and staff and assistive technology, and will include the personal experience of a dyslexic ex-student. The speakers will focus on their experiences of using assistive technology to support study skills and creative learning, building links with other support services across institutions and speak about equality legislation and the current drive in inclusivity in higher education institutions. The day is intended to be highly participative and there should be ample scope to share good practice, concerns and questions in general with both your fellow attendees and the speakers.

Cost: £105.00 members and £150.00 for other institutions. A sandwich lunch and light refreshments are included in this price.

Cancellations less than one week before the event will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day, the full fee will be charged.
