This is an invaluable event aimed at graduate trainees and anyone who is considering applying for LIS courses, whether full or part-time.

CPD25 are pleased to have the following speakers:

Michael Martin (CILIP)
Michael will be discussing the professional and career benefits of further study.

Dr Tamara Eisenschitz (City University)
Tamara will discuss the courses available in the “market place??? and the attributes, qualities and qualifications that training providers are looking for.

Vanda Broughton (UCL)
Vanda will discuss the courses available in the “market place??? and the attributes, qualities and qualifications that training providers are looking for.

Nick Bevan (Brunel University)
As Director of Library Services at Brunel University, Nick is well placed to discuss the employers’ view of professional qualifications and the impact it will have on your employability.

Andy Oliver (recently completed his part-time course at UCL)
Andy will be discussing his recent experience of LIS study. Who better to give you the “reality??? version?

Cost is £25 for CPD25 subscribers, £35 M25 affiliate members and £45 for other institutions, including refreshments

Please note that there are only 30 places available for this event, which will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Bookings will close on the 13th October 2004 and any cancellations after that date will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Provisional bookings will be held for 7 working days. A “no show??? on the day will incur 100% cancellation charges.
