cpd25 – Making Statistics Work For You. Monday 5th December, Senate House Library 14:00 – 16:30 We are pleased to announce a new CPD25 training event – Making statistics work for you. This is aimed at middle and junior library and information managers with little or no experience of producing or using statistics and similar management information. The course leader is Claire Creaser, Deputy Director & Senior Statistician, LISU. The course will cover the following: – Evidence based management: rationale; data collection; analysis & presentation. – Practical work and discussion using SCONUL data. – Putting it into practice: statistical benchmarking; project evaluation – Discussion of specific issues – anyone with a specific query which they would like discussed can email Claire in advance (C.Creaser@lboro.ac.uk) Cost is £50 for CPD25 members, £80 for M25 affiliate members and £100 for other institutions, including refreshments. Please note that there are limited places available for this event. Cancellations less than one week before the event will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
