Managing change
Whether facing major changes as part of restructuring, a move, a
new building, introducing RFID or something less dramatic like having a new manager, change can be disruptive for anyone.
This session is aimed at everyone, from managers helping staff through a period of change, to anyone experiencing changes in their working life.
Course Objectives:
1. Understanding of the problems change can cause for staff, and developing strategies to minimise resentment and loss of morale and motivation.
2. Skills in developing an effective change plan and getting staff agreement to this.
3. Knowledge of how and when to effectively use consultation and negotiation, and where this is not appropriate.
