SLA Conference 2014: Tomorrow’s World – future-proofing yourself and your library [Event Ref. No. TG4/SLA7]
This event is the seventh annual cpd25 event designed for those who supervise staff, services or both.
The Audience: Senior Library Assistants, Information Services Supervisors, Library Assistants, Information Assistants (or their equivalent).
Following on from the previous successful events, the day will enable participants to consider how to ensure our skills, knowledge and library services continue to be of value in the future.
The continuing growth of technology, increased student expectations, internationalisation of education and competition from other information service providers mean our libraries need to look ahead to remain relevant. This will be a highly participative day with plenty of opportunities for networking – enabling attendees to share their experiences and best practice.
