SLA conference 2015 – “Bridging the gap: supporting new library users” [Event Ref. No. TG4/SLA]
Twitter – #cpd25SLA
Cpd25 is pleased to bring you our eighth annual conference, designed for those who supervise staff, services or both. Following our previous successes, the day will encourage participants to consider and share how best to support new library users.
Over the course of the day we will consider the increased expectations of customers, what support we give them prior to joining, how to support the needs of a diverse user group, and what training we need to provide excellent customer service. This will be a highly participative day with plenty of opportunities for networking – enabling attendees to share their experiences and best practice.
