This event will be of interest to line managers, those involved in the recruitment process or those interested in a management role.

With increased budget pressures, it is more important than ever to get the recruitment process right and to ensure you have the right people in the right place. This event aims to explore how other universities recruit staff, how they ensure that their staffing structures are appropriate and alternative staffing models.

The event also includes a group discussion where we would like delegates to discuss induction processes at their institutions: how are they conducted? What works? What doesn’t work? What would you do to improve the process?

We also encourage both delegates and non-attendees to engage in the discussion on Twitter using the hashtag #libstaff14.
