The brand new Dana Research Centre and Library provides a world-class environment for academic research, bringing together the Science Museum’s thriving Research and Public History Department and access to its library and archive collections.
Its aim is to increase the use and understanding of the Science Museum’s outstanding collections by academics and the public. It provides a welcoming, contemporary and light-filled environment, a quiet reading area and open shelving for printed material.
This visit will cover a tour of the Dana Research Centre and Library, followed by a talk given by the acting Head of Library and Archives about the history of the Science Museum Library, and a viewing of some archival material.

If, subsequent to booking a place on a cpd25 visit, you find that you are unable to attend, we ask that you let us know this as soon as possible. Cancellations received less than one week before the event will be charged a £15 cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day, £25 will be charged.
