Visit to The Sheppard Library, Middlesex University [Event Ref. No. TG2V/SHEP]
*UPDATE*
Due to unforeseen circumstances, this event has now been postponed until the autumn
This event will comprise the following programme:
– Tour of the Sheppard Library
– A talk/presentation on the integration of library and student services and our customer service ethos
– Q & A session.
The tour will be conducted by Glyn Hughes, Library Operations Manager and the talk/presentation will be given by the Head of Student Information and Advice and the Deputy Director of Library and Student Support.
Middlesex’s student helpdesk, UniHelp, part of the converged Library and Student Services, has transformed the way student enquiries are resolved. Providing support at dedicated desks and remotely, it is the first port of call for any student enquiry from course and timetable queries, to help with learning support or welfare issues. It replaced a number of individual services and help points spread across the University.
This visit is free of charge.
