Visit to Lincoln’s Inn Library [Event Ref. No. TG2V/LIN]
Following on from the highly successful visit we ran to the Middle Temple, cpd25 is offering a visit to Lincoln’s Inn on 24th November 2010. This visit will involve a talk about the Library and a tour around it. There will also be an opportunity to see the rare book collection and to look at the Hall itself.
Lincoln’s Inn is described on its website as:
‘One of the four Inns of Court. The Inns of Court have played a fundamental role in preparing students for call to the Bar and their progress to professional competence as barristers for many centuries. With that role at its heart, it is nonetheless a very multifarious organisation: a collegiate and educational institution, a membership organisation, a professional body, a landlord, a custodian of historic buildings, a banqueting venue and a tourist attraction’
This will be a fascinating insight into a secret world that few of us have the opportunity to access. The visit will begin at 2.30pm and finish around 4.30pm and is free of charge.
To reserve a space please use our online booking form or email the administrator via cpd25@lse.ac.uk
Please note that there are limited places available for this visit.
