Visit to the School of Pharmacy Library [Event Ref. No. TG2V/PHAR]
The School of Pharmacy Library is a unique academic library that is particularly strong in the core pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacognosy and pharmacology, but which also spans the whole biomedical spectrum and beyond. It currently subscribes to over 5,500 scholarly journals (mostly in electronic format) and has around 15,000 manuscript volumes which includes a textbook collection.
The Library was refurbished in the Summer of 2009 so this visit will provide an opportunity to have a tour of the new Library. There will also be a chance to look at some of the archival collection material.
