Career Development Day For Library And Information Assistants [Event Ref. No. TG1/CDD]
This day is aimed at those in library and information assistant roles who would like to progress their career, or perhaps change direction, but lack confidence in applying for jobs or perhaps are applying for jobs but not being invited for interview. In the morning a workshop will look at how to make your applications irresistible to your prospective employers and your covering letters stand out from the rest. In the afternoon, senior information professionals will talk about their experience of recruiting staff.
