Conference Theme
Our theme for 2026 is “Sunshine Through the Rain: Celebrating our Successes

Libraries continue to deliver outstanding services for their users during these challenging financial times. We are taking the time at our online Conference to hear from voices across the sector. We will share achievements, staff wellbeing initiatives, projects, and activities that have provided some sunshine through the rain: whether small or large – they all make a difference.

As a pilot, it aimed to empower students to shape services and work in partnership with library staff.

Registration and Booking

All member institutions are entitled to two free delegate places (registration essential) and can book additional places.

Fees:

Free member places – two per institution £0 24 February-5 June
Additional Member Places £35  24 February-5 June
Non-member places £70 24 February-5 June
Group bookings of 3 and above £5 discount per person,  (not applicable to student tickets nor first two free places) 24 February-5 June
Students £10 24 February-5 June

Invoicing: Paid bookings will be invoiced after the Conference from 15 June.

Group bookings: 3 or more paying delegates will receive a £5 discount per person if they book as a group. Please fill out one form per person and add a note to the form in the PO number box to state ‘group booking’. Please also email cpd25@london.ac.uk with the names of the group members so we can identify you when we receive your booking forms. Any queries about group booking should be sent to cpd25@london.ac.uk. The Group discount does not apply to students or member representatives using their free places.

Student rate: If you’re studying and working at an M25 library please use the member registration form and write ‘student’, as well as your job title, in the designated box. Proof of student status may be required.

Conference Bursaries: There are two free places available at Conference. Find out more here Staff Development Award Scheme. Closing date extended to 23 April 2026.

Cancellation policy: Cancellation is free until 23:59 on 26 May 2026. Cancellations after this date will be charged 50%. No-shows on the day will be charged 100%.
